Regional Conference 2023


The CAA Regional Conference is taking place August
7-10, 2023, at the PlumpJack Inn in Olympic Valley, California (Tahoe's North Shore). 

The goal of the Regional Conference is to provide new and returning attendees alike with the tools necessary to improve our effectiveness, sharpen organizational intelligence, and collaboratively provide uniform assessment practices statewide.

Hotel Accomodations

Rooms are available at the PlumpJack Inn and the Palisades Tahoe Lodge

PlumpJack:
Room rates are $185/night, with a resort fee of $20/night, 10% occupancy tax and 2% district tax. Resort fee includes wireless internet, parking and bike rentals, bocce and croquet lawn.

PlumpJack is also offering discounts on its suites. Ask the reservation agent for details.

Palisades Tahoe Lodge
Reservations are based on a 2-night minimum stay per room. Reservations are subject to a $28 nightly resort fee and 12.695% tax. The group discounted dates are 1 day pre and 1 day post conference dates. Two nights run of house @ $195/night = $504.62 per room. Three nights run of house @ $185/night = $723.12 per room.

I can no longer attend the conference. Can I get a refund of my registration fee?

Refund requests will be honored (minus $100) through Friday, July 28. After this date, refunds will not be issued. However, substitutes are welcome to attend in your place. Please send substitution information to events@calassessor.org.
